Three situations where we will usually steer you elsewhere:

• Airport transfers with luggage. Stretch limousines have limited boot space by design the length goes to passenger cabin, not cargo. For four people with four suitcases, a Mercedes V-Class or an Audi Q7 gets you there more comfortably and for less.

• Tight venue access. A number of Melbourne wedding and reception venues cannot take a stretch vehicle at the door narrow laneways through Fitzroy and Collingwood, older churches with restricted frontage, Yarra Valley properties with unsealed or steep driveways. Tell us the venue when you enquire and we will confirm access before you commit.

• Groups of two or three. A stretch limousine carrying three people looks emptier than it feels. A Rolls-Royce Ghost or Bentley Flying Spur delivers the same arrival with a better sense of occasion.

Larger groups can be split across multiple vehicles travelling in convoy, or moved to coach hire. Ask when you enquire and we will price both.

Ribbons in your colours, red carpet at the arrival, chilled water on board and a chauffeur who has done enough weddings to know when to wait quietly and when to move. We hold the vehicle for the full booked window rather than running to a meter, so a ceremony that starts late does not become a second problem. Multi-vehicle bookings for the bridal party and guests are priced together.

Formal season books out early the good vehicles for a Saturday in October and November are typically gone by August. Every formal booking is confirmed in writing to the parent or guardian organising it, with the chauffeur's details supplied before the night.
